Just as we started to pick up speed with this thing, we said so long to one of the big three. But we sent him off with a BANG! Ripping that wouldn’t have happened in any other circumstance lead to some CRAZY PULLS!
Chris had a dream about 17-18 Optic Basketball so we decided to go in and check it out. He went through a couple packs and didn’t get much of anything. He left me alone with an opened box that still contained an autograph so I did the only thing any good collector would do, I RIPPED! I ended up pulling a Kevin Durant Signature Series redemption! Chris’s dream didn’t dissapoint. Shortly after that, Chris pulled a Purple Rhys Hoskins Rookie Auto /250 from a pack of 2018 Topps Chrome! That, seemingly, ended our adventures in ripping together, or so I thought.
*glong* My phone lights up. “You want to meet me at the shop tomorrow morning right when it opens at 10?” WE BACK!!! Clearly Authentic had just released and the shop had just under a half a case left. I wasn’t planning on doing a box but, because Chris was taking off, I decided to go for it. Chris and I have had a side competition going on to see who would pull the first Ohtani autograph. The competition ended with my first box of Clearly Authentic. I hit the Black Parallel Shohei Ohtani!
